The Fight

Called home today. After MK's burfdae, I was in a pretty gud mood. Surprise surprise surprise. It's a nice surprise for MK, yet a bad one for me. Mum didn't wanna talk to me much today, she hung up juz instantly. My spy told me that she had a terrible fight with dad. Dun really got the idea what actually caused the fight, but at least she shud tell me when I called. Instead she confide to someone else and not me. Did she think that it'll burden me to worry about them, or has I been a burden to her that she don't wan to tell me anything anymore?

My fragile heart shattered into pieces.

MK's burfdae

The preparation begun (well strictly speaking) when we went w/o MK to buy the puzzle card at Charlestown, spent a considerably long time weaving in and out of shops trying to get the perfect present for her. When I mean "considerably long time", I meant "very very very long time".. HAha.. Well, our day was fruitless as we ended up buying only the card. And also lotsa explaining to do when she started suspecting us for not letting her know 'bout the trip.

Then, when we're really out of ideas on getting the perfect gift for her, someone came up with the idea of origami stars(Either EC or JL, dun actually noe who). Sounds plain and old-fashioned to some of you, but it was really a great idea to begin with. EC and JL went thru all the hard choices choosing for the color sheets and produced most of the stars.(Courtesy to Nic for the bottle though)

Our preparation for the day however began around 4, where we anxiously prepare the dishes. JL was busy drying out the last bit of H2O from her pork but to no avail. While she kept saying that her dish would not turn out successful, EC was spicing things up and was mumbling "Die la Die la" non-stop.

Oh ya..TS, you might wanna be more careful with the popper

My package arrived!

2 parcels adding up to a total of 9+kg..

Walking from Hunter's Building to Barahineban seems a very long way back. And with the two boxes in hand, I was totally out of breath when I reached my doorstep. Albeit the weight, these two parcel actually switched my mood swing. Mum's cutie handwriting sure brings back the familiar times when I leaned by and watched mum write. Delicately, I opened the first parcel, tearing off every bit of paper scrapped on it.

WOW~! Mum sure packed a lot of stuff in here.. There's fish essence, instant porridge, instant fried rice mix, chrysanthemum tea and..soft candy. Haha~ My heart's filled with warmth already.. Thankz a lot MUM, for goin thru all the trouble mailing these to me..Lurve you!! Mwaxx~

Finally..

YEaPie!

WE the "Fantastically Slow Four" are slow no more! Well at least for the few lab sessions that we had this week.. Let's hope we won't have to reclaim the title.YET

We're doing okay in the labs so far, except for the immunonology lab session..Well, to be precise, it's juz me that seems to be pressurized by the session. Prolly I'm really scare that I would mess things up and eventually have other members into hot boiling water. After the first session that we had, I was really terrified that the isolation might end up isolating nothing at all. By going to the lab unprepared is definitely not the wise thing to do. Broke out cryin after having to endure the fear all night..

Thankz to JL for preparing the feast to cheer me up. Thankz for tolerating me and hope we won't end up fighting. We won't wanna lose the bet rite?

After a whole night of struggling, I'm finally getting more and more of a grouch..Luckily I didn lose my final straw..perhaps I would say luckily no one's getting on my nerve..^v^

The deadline is up tomorrow..and we're still shopping at the local supermarket without haste.. Procrastination, I should say..At this moment, I think four of us would REALLY like to doze off on our beds, through the portal of fantasies. But we CAN'T~! Might as well get going and pray that I could really finish all of it in time. That is what we call a miracle.

True enough, I wasn't able to. Sometime during the late hours, my lurvely aunt chatted with me, telling me the problems that she's encountering. Gastricitis. Her worst nightmare she says. I know. Been watching her these years taking those awfully dreadful herb medicine, watchin her sometimes have a very painful struggle when it strikes. Don't know how to really solve her problems though I REALLY wish I could solve them.

Finally, it's already 6am in the morning. Alas, I can't take it anymore.Without haste, my dog-bone plushie embraced me as I finally lay down my fatigue body. Yet the time clicks by as though we're flying thru a time portal within seconds to another dimension of space. It was 10am before you know it. HOW exactly would the presentation turn out when I haven't prepared ANYTHING at all?!!

The flow diagram I did was lyk entirely weird, juz full of crap and all techniques squeezed in it. Sure get bombarded by ** next week about it. Heck. No matter, what matters most now is our presentation. With speed of lightnin I scanned through the info, and finally it was time to go for IT. We are late as usual, luckily they haven't really start anything yet. Five min past one, the first group presented. Followed by the second, then the third....The minutes ticked away slowly, everything seemed to be playing pranks on us. By the time the fourth group was presenting, we're already dozing off..Our system's preparing for hibernation. With brains jammed with information, we already ran out of questions to ask. I wasn't really concentrating sometime, even as I did some of the time, I was unable to think of a question as well. Sorry about tht.

Alas, it's finally our turn to present. We proceed to the front and it began and finished within a flash. I started with a not very clear introduction then proceeded to my part. Miraculously, I wasn't trembling but was more tongue-tied than ever. "Pcecip-- Preciptet--Precopita..tion" My colleagues did pretty okay though they all was saying how bad they were in the presentation. I really should apologise to them for my initial intention was to help ease their burden but in the end I messed it up..BIG TIME~! Sorry guys..
